Food Series # 3 - Spontaneous Trips To Olive Garden
It is finals week for college students, which means its that time of the year where we get no sleep at all and just stress all day (everyday). A friend and I were surprisingly given an "A" in our Business class and had to have a celebratory meal, I excitedly suggested we go to Olive Garden for dessert (but ended up getting a meal instead).
To start it off, I was really craving a sweet citrus drink so I got the Peach Bellini ($6.50) and my friend got a Frozen Margarita. The Bellini was really light and refreshing, it really satisfied my sweet tooth. It had Zonin Prosecco (italian sparkling wine) mixed with fresh fruits, and despite the name tasted more like pineapples than peach. While on the otherhand, my friends massive Frozen Margarita ($6.50) was mixed with tequila and had a strawberyy-mango mix.

Our waiter then gave us a basket of garlic bread and our sampler, the Pronto Lunch ($12.79). We were able to choose up to three things and had a variety of small finger foods to pick at such as calamari, stuffed mushrooms, fried zucchini, chicken fingers, fried mozzarella or toasted beef and pork ravioli. We chose the calamari, fried zucchini and mozzarella.

Although it did not seem like much, we were pretty stuffed at the end. The portions are big and can feed about 2 people (depending on how much you can eat lol). The bill came out to be around 28 dollars which was not bad for the place. The meal and drinks were good, but the Frozen Margarita was too strong for our liking and we ended up not finishing it (but the Peach Bellini was bomb). This was a good celebratory meal for our "A", hoping to do this 4 more times once finals are over!
Wishing everyone good luck on their finals!
